Your text stays here
A static code is drawn in this browser. qrmake does not receive that text. A dynamic code is different: you sign in, we store the web address it points at, and we count scans of the short link. Scan rows keep the time, the kind of device, and the city. They do not keep an IP address. Analytics cookies, if you allow them, still do not receive the address inside a code.
Questions
- Is this free?
- Static codes are free. There is no fee, no ad, and no watermark, and they need no account. A dynamic code needs a free account. The free plan includes 3 dynamic codes, and those codes do not expire.
- Do you store what I type?
- A static code is made in your browser, so the words in it are not stored. A dynamic code stores the web address it redirects to, because that is how editing works. Analytics, if you allow them, record the kind of code and the download format. They do not record the address.
- Will the code work outside India?
- Yes. UPI codes are for Indian payment apps. Links, Wi-Fi, phone, email, and the rest work worldwide.
- Can I put a logo in the middle?
- Yes. Add an image and the error correction rises to High, so a phone can still read the code around the logo.
